Obtaining Travel vaccinations
If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
Which travel vaccines do I need?
You can find out which vaccinations are necessary or recommended for the areas you'll be visiting on these website
Local travel clinics (please note that the Practice does not endorse any of these clinics, the following details are merely here to aid your research)
Chester Clinic | Well Travelled Clinics
Cheshire Travel Clinic - Same day low cost vaccinations
Superdrug – Broughton Park http://healthclinics/Superdrug.com/services patient booking line on 03 333 111 007
Which travel vaccines are free?
The following travel vaccines are available free on the NHS
polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
These vaccines are free because they protect against diseases thought to represent the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country.
Please note - Our nurses can administer these free NHS vaccines, but are not able to research what vaccines are needed. Please attend a travel clinic, local pharmacy or look online using the links above to identify what vaccines are necessary for the country you are travelling to. Most vaccines should be given at least 8 weeks prior to travel.
